See this thread: http://www.xtremeflyer.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=90&posts=1&start=1 I know it is a little different than other sites and I wish it would allow the direct URL method, but I have been told the next release of this forum software (due in a couple of months) will allow direct URL embeds! XtremeFlyer Member Posts: 19 ![]() | spektrum is the wrong radio to use with wireless video. I am switching to trusty 72 mhz which is pretty robust with wireless video. My spektrum will go on my AP plane where it is more trusted.

Well, not exactly. I am using 900 mhz, but it is overruling the signal on my spektrum. 'Washing out' is another term.

![]() Posts: 416 ![]() Location: Fort Collins, Colorado | Really? I have never heard of that issue...but, I can definitely see how the signal could be affected, even on a lower frequency... BTW, you should be able to do a Photobucket embed -- you may have a bad character in the link... Garret

XtremeFlyer Member Posts: 19 ![]() | Here is the plane. I got it for $90 on sale but looks like it is $110 now....(or you can get a easystar for $70) http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...odID=MPU214226 Here are the goggles. You have to solder in a few wires but it is easy and there is a good thread on it at RCG. The secret is to get a bid in before it hits $50. Then the seller will give you a second chance at $50-$60. (safeseller only at ebay) http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-TRIMERSION-V...item5191d38e11 Here is a good 900 mhz video xmtr and receiver (I got mine at $75, its $95 now) http://hobbywireless.com/cart/index....6b896774faf1dc Antenna for ground station, this is cheaper and more versatile - http://hobbywireless.com/cart/index....6b896774faf1dc Pan/tilt http://www.servocity.com/html/spt50_...an___tilt.html camera (1.9mm) I also bought a case for it at $4 http://cctvohio.com/pages/cams.html I use a DX7 radio, you can use a 6+channel 72mhz radio and it will give you a good mile range. DX7 is good for 1/2 mile or so. I built my camera pod, but you can buy one if you want here http://readymaderc.com/store/index.p...products_id=20 I already had the motor/esc/ubec/servos/servo wires so I didnt link those. Most guys here have alot of that stuff or you can get it cheap from HeadsupRC
