Oh. I ended up about a half mile away. That is about the max range for the Spektrum. The 72 mhz radios are good for over a mile.

Dave, Thank you for all the info... almost all links you posted doesn't work BUT it gave me some idea what I need and where to find it. Do you think a Futaba 10C (with the 2.4 ghz module on it) will work well or it will suffer interference / range problems with this setup too?

Thanks again

Gleber

I'll come back tomorrow and fix those links. I cut and pasted from another forum. Ultimately, you want to stay away from 2.4 ghz radio transmitters. They do not play well with others. Sorry guys..its bed time for DaveĀ

There is a simple and cheap pan and tilt set-up that you build using a couple of servo's and a piece of lite ply and basswood in the August issue of Fly RC magazine.

Were you yelling "MAYDAY!, MAYDAY! EJECT! EJECT!"?
Post another video when you get it. COOL!

I'll post more after the next couple weeks. My daughter is leaving for a 18 month tour in Afghanistan on Aug 8 so I want to spend as much time with her as possible.

Thanks - Dave

Please pass along sincerest thanks to your daughter for serving our country. May God keep her, bless her, and protect her while over seas. Enjoy your time with her.
