Can you add the Futaba 14MZ to the list? I fly that radio, but there is no selection for it on the poll.

No, no, no, no... are you ?

I'm just saying the DX8 will be released here on the US in few days.

Boss, the 10G will be with me for the next 5 years at least. I love the SD-10G so much.

I have the Hitec Prism 7X. I really don't like it but I make the best with what I have. I put a Corona 2.4 module in it when I took out the Spectra 72mhz module. Never had a range / binding issue. The 8ch rx's are still under 20.00 bucks. I guess if I had a choice I would get an Optic 6 / with my Corona module

When I went off to college in August of 2003, it was just the beginning of people starting to take to 2.4GHz systems. So I continued to fly my old 72MHz Futaba TX6A. But after rescuing a pilot and his wife's plane from the water a year ago at an R/C event, I received a DX6i and an ultra micro BNF plane. Now with most places/events banning 72MHz it just makes sense for me to convert my planes to Spektrum gear. Unless I get a free radio or have problems, I'll keep on with my Spektrum gear.

My dad has made the switch from 72MHz Airtronics gear to 2.4GHz Spektrum gear with a DX6i.

I think it was just the beginning where some few people were testing it out. But then again, I could be wrong. Going off to college, I lost track of what was happening in the RC industry for a while.

Well, I guess I'm the odd duck, my JR propo 9x(UK 9303) with spek 2.4 has been trouble free, never a glitch in either 72mhz or with the newer style 2.4 mod. for the 2065.5 hrs of on time, and it looks like it as it is rather rough looking, but hey its a tool imo. Still using the original batt. (knock on wood) I choose it when they came out for the feel of everything in general. The switches, gimbals, placements etc. The glider programing sold me because it's quick, powerful and I've been able to mix my way out of everything I need. I do full house sailplanes, 3D fixed wing and helis. I've tried a few others but I've been with this unit so long it's part of me when flying. Had a Dx6i for about a week. Broke the roller switch just in handling the thing. When I saw how it was made during my repair session I knew it was just to cheap, almost disposable. programing was odd but do-able and limited. Sold it the next day. Flew Futaba from 85 to 03 and they worked fine, but they were all low end units.

The best I can tell is that the DX6 was the 1st released as a park flyer in 2005.
